Ben Got Botox!
Yes, its true! Ben got Botox last Tuesday at The Rose Clinic in Springville. It was pure vanity! Just kidding! Since we all suffer from Ben's severe frequent Migranes, we decided to give Botox a try to see if it would help him. The last few weeks he has been getting a Migrane almost everyday and it has been a nightmare! If the Botox helps him get rid of his headaches then the next step would be surgery to remove the nerves and muscles in his head at various trigger points. The plastic surgeon we met with (Dr. Rose) said it will also automatically give him a brow lift-lucky Ben! It takes at least a week before it starts to help, so we are anxiously waiting to see if it works! Heres hoping!

My mom had Botox injections in her right arm when she had her paralysis from her brain tumor. So, it is for more than vanity...I hope it works well for Ben!!We also have a family friend who had experimental Botox treatment injected into her Larynx when she had a rare disorder that made her voice totally disappear. She ended up on some talk show with the doctor talking about the treatments. She got her voice back!
Wow! That is amazing what Botox can do for people!!! I didn't realize that there were so many ways that it can help besides getting rid of wrinkles temporarily! Ben has gone 6 days now without a headache in that area of his head that they injected the Botox-so that is a good sign!
